Sony Xperia Z Android Jelly Bean Update to Arrive Soon

Sony had released its Xperia Z an Android based Smartphone into the market in February this year. Sony had thereafter approved two firmware versions for the device. All these indicate that the flagship model of Sony is going to get something new and by logic it should be an update to the current Android 4.1 with the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Sony had as it is promised this update at the time of release of the Xperia Z during the CES 2013 event. The update has long been overdue with owners of the device only getting access to Google AOSP which was for the developers to work upon.

Indications of the OS update turning into a reality soon has been due the discovery of the two new firmware versions 10.1.1.A.319 and 10.3.A.0.407 by XperiaBlog users. Going by the naming pattern, the first one appears to be for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.  The second firmware has the 10.3 classification, which gives the possibility of the Android 4.2 association.

There has been talk about the Sony T-Mobile tie up though none have made any official announcement to the effect. There has been Kaz Hirai the Sony CEO who had mentioned about the arrival of the update soon. If the two issues were added up, and linked to the firmware certifications being compliant with the Xperia Z devices being sold in North America, the arrival of the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean version gets even further confirmed.

What can now be expected is that the Xperia Z would be up for buying on T-Mobiles site soon, and it would be with the updated Android 4.2 OS that it be. Existing owners or users of the Xperia Z would naturally get their updates before this happens. It is just a short wait now for all this to happen.

Hello, thanks for dropping by. Actually, wordpress is an easy-to-use blogging platform and you don’t need any coding experience whatsoever to use it. However, if you are a coding type, it still allows basic html codes. This may be used when you didn’t get what you want on the Text editor. For instance, there is no function for JUSTIFIFCATION of text in wordpress but you can use html code

      and so on.
