The Huawei Ascend P6 was announced just the other day and Carphone Warehouse are the first to offer the super thin handset to the UK market with an expected delivery date of July 7.
The Carphone Warehouse are currently offering an unlocked, SIM-free P6 at £329.95 (about $516), there’s also a pay monthly plan starting at 21 GBP per month. A pretty decent price for a handset of this calibre.
Announced at the Huawei event in London on the 18th the Huawei Ascend P6 is a super thin phone with a 4.7-inch 720p HD screen. It also comes packed with Huawei’s own 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel camera on the back, and a pretty awesome 5-megapixel front-facing camera – the first smartphone to offer a front facing camera of this resolution.

Now, Bloomberg has reported that HTC and Downey Jr. have come to terms on a two-year deal, worth $12-million, citing two people with “knowledge of the plans”.
According to the sources, the deal will see the actor as himself rather than Ironman or any other character he portrayed.
“We have nothing to announce today on a new marketing campaign,” an HTC spokesperson was quoted as saying.
